Skin-care ingredient labels are long, technical, and unforgiving — and when a child breaks out, you usually have no way to know which ingredient caused it. Skinllergic Cam scans a label in one shot, flags risky ingredients per family member, and adds a "compare allergic products" feature: line up every product that gave a reaction and surface the ingredient that keeps reappearing — that's the real allergen. All ingredient matching and AI inference run on-device; personal allergen data never leaves your phone.

v2.0 adds iCloud cross-device sync, multi-family mode (parents tracking allergens for babies and older relatives without their own phones), Home Screen and Lock Screen Widgets, monthly seasonal reminders, iOS Shortcuts, and OCR for Japanese / Korean labels. Built by a solo iOS developer in Taiwan using the latest Apple technologies — small, focused, and quietly thoughtful.

I have three daughters, each with different skin sensitivities. Whenever they broke out, I had no way to tell which ingredient was the culprit — I'd just switch brands, watch the rash come back, and guess again.

Skinllergic Cam is built around that frustration. Beyond scanning a single product, the heart of the app is the "compare allergic products" feature: line up every product that gave one of my kids a reaction, find the ingredient that keeps showing up — that's the real allergen.

Later I added multi-family mode (so each daughter has her own list), Apple Intelligence to explain ingredients in plain language, and iCloud sync so allergen info stays in step across devices. As a solo iOS developer, I wanted to use the latest Apple technologies to make something genuinely useful for my own kids — and share it with every family in the same boat.
